Logo for the game Critical Miss with a skull wearing a crown, giving a thumbs-up, and the tagline 'The best easily forgotten side quest'.

You just killed an enemy that could have one hit you, your party, and maybe even your dog.
Here’s a Gold Coin.

Fight, loot, and fumble your way through encounters that range from mildly heroic to deeply unfortunate. Collect cards, swing recklessly, ignore warnings, and scream when the mimic isn't a chest—it’s the floor.

Whether you're the doomed barbarian with no pants, the wizard whose spellbook is mostly snack recipes, or just the guy who touched the obviously cursed amulet...
You’re here.
You’re in it.
And the cards hate you.

Text on gray background: "I came unprepared for this weeks session. Let's just go kill things until one of us figures out a story."

To Be Released: Eventually

Currently a work in progress, Critical Miss is a card game inspired by tabletop gaming and fantasy. And maybe some bad comedy skill. and a collection of clip-art —

EITHER WAY

Designed to be quick, fun, and challenging, this deck-building, rogue-lite, buzzword riddled nightmare was designed to— wait, I already said that part. Typed. Whatever.

Fight baddies, pray for goodies, survive events, and ultimately kill the BIG BAD. Or, I guess you can die in the first couple encounters. That works, too.

Here, look at some cards.

A trading card titled 'Jolt' depicting a black hand with two lightning bolts above it. The card has green and yellow border colors, with numbers 2 and 1 in the top corners. The text on the card explains that after walking on rugs in wool socks, you discover the 'Spell,' which is good for you and indicates a true Arch-Mage.
A card. It features a black club-shaped icon with white dots, red and yellow score icons, and text instructions to return the card to the loot pile after use.
A single gold coin with a yellow center and black outline, labeled 'Coin 1', on a textured brown background, with a description reading 'A single gold coin. Super useful.'
Game card titled 'Firebolt' with a green background and a black and white illustrated cloud and lightning bolts, with text about yelling 'Fireball!' and judging by others.
A playing card titled "Chain Shirt" with a purple background, a drawing of a chainmail shirt, and game text about its armor properties and material.
A game card labeled 'Yellow Potion' with a yellow potion illustration, indicating it tastes like spicy lemonade and heals 3 purple points.
